Recently we celebrated my father-in-law's birthday. He's not really a cake person. And since we were baking chiffon cakes at that time, we thought we had bake one extra and then decorated it with fresh cream. It's a simple cake, but it works!
Everyone were eating it happily, and I thought that sometimes the most basic or simple of cakes it's the best. The chiffon with cream thinly covering the cake gave it a refreshing and lightness feel to the whole experience.
So i can imagine the joy it can provide if someone homemade this cake for some special occasion.
