My recent trip to Osaka, Kyoto, Nara and Kobe, has rekindle my liking of strawberries. Japan strawberries are so fresh and so sweet! And perhaps due to the drop in yen currency, it's not that expensive now. i end up eating three boxes of them in all! ; )
And with this fall-in-love-again, i had like to take this opportunity to highlight one of my baking workshops that featured strawberries too! i.e. Japanese strawberry shortcake click here to check it out! ;P
ps. Not all strawberries are sweet in Japan though. The cheapest won't be, but the 2nd price tier will be sweet enough and cost around S$4 to S$5 per box, which is equivalent to S'pore's pricing (and definitely sweeter).
